Bachata Traditional Intermediate

Service Description

In this Dominican Bachata class, musicality takes center stage. Together, we'll delve deeper into the structure of the music and learn to consciously listen to the different instruments and integrate them into our dance. We'll review and refine the basics and work on the distinctive footwork that defines the Dominican style. We'll explore various step variations and rhythms to develop greater freedom and creativity in our dancing. Another focus is on leading in partner work. You'll learn how to clearly lead and interpret musical accents and build a dynamic, playful connection with your partner. Prerequisites for participation include completion of a beginner's Bachata course or equivalent prior experience.
