Bachata Traditional Intermediate

In this Bachata Dominican Class, musicality takes centre stage. Together we dive deeper into the structure of the music, learning to consciously listen to the different instruments and incorporate them into our dancing. We revisit and refine the basics and work on the footwork that is characteristic of the Dominican style. Along the way, we explore different step variations and rhythms to develop greater freedom and creativity in our dancing. A further focus is on leading in partner work. You will learn how to clearly lead or interpret musical accents and build a dynamic, playful connection with your partner. A completed Bachata beginner course or equivalent prior experience is required to participate.
