Kizomba Open Level

Kizomba is a popular, social partner dance from Angola. The music offers a wide variety of rhythms – from intense and powerful to gentle and emotive. At the heart of this beautiful dance are musicality, connection as a couple, and a shared sense of flow. In our Open Level Kizomba Class, everyone is welcome – whether you're a beginner or more experienced. You'll start by learning the fundamentals so you can move confidently on the dance floor and shine at socials or Kizomba parties. We place particular emphasis on clean basics, leading, and getting the timing right. In the next step, we dive deeper and work on Urban Kiz elements as well as a variety of figures such as slides, lifts, and technical combinations. This helps you develop your own style further and bring more expression and creativity to your dancing. Come along and experience the special connection that makes Kizomba so unique!
